Being Jewish is all about community. Its all about connecting. For the first time, or all over again, discover the Jewish Federation. Connect to a community pursuing social justice for all people, bringing life to Jewish values, and joining in the new partnership with Israel.

Support the weak, feed the hungry, and nourish the spirit of every Jew. Be part of every Jew. Be part of the effort to support our community's needs. It is fulfilling to be connected. Add your talents and resources. Feel the strength of your connection.

Our congregations, Temple Beth Or (Reform) and Congregation Agudath Israel Etz Ahayem (Conservative) each have a full calendar of services and activities, detailed in our community calendar and on each of their websites. Together, they operate the Kol Ami Religious School which provides a formal Jewish education for our children.

Other congregations in our expanded area include Beth Shalom in Auburn, serving East Alabama; Temple Emanu-El in Dothan, serving the Wiregrass area; and the historic Mishkan Israel, located in Selma in West Alabama.

Our local Jewish organizations offer cultural and educational experiences for every age group, for example, Hillel and SSI at Auburn University for college students; the Lucien Loeb L’Chaim League for the 50+ crowd; Chavurat Montgomery, a Jewish family-themed social group and the JFCA Young Adult Division (YAD).
